It all starts with an idea
#1 - Idea & Design
- It all starts with the customer's idea. agathon works closely with its customers to understand their specific requirements and develop optimal solutions.
- The design of the mould is created using the latest CAD software. Factors such as the shape of the product, the material properties and the requirements of the production process are taken into account. The design of the mould is optimized to meet the aesthetic requirements of the product and the producibility.
#2 - Prototyping
- After the design phase, a prototype of the mould is created. This prototype is used to check the design and to make any necessary adjustments.
- agathon relies on the most modern prototype construction methods to quickly and efficiently produce prototypes of the highest quality.

- Furthermore, the production efficiency in a 4-shift system with the full automation of individual production centers is taken into account.
#6 - Quality control
- In a defined rhythm, our moulds undergo a strict quality control to ensure that they meet the high quality standards of agathon.
- During this process, factors such as dimensional accuracy, surface quality and functionality of the mould are checked.
#7 - Delivery
- After successful quality control, the mould is delivered to the customer.
- agathon offers its customers a comprehensive service that also includes the installation and commissioning of the moulds.

BPA
agathon sets a good example
BPA is a chemical compound that has been used for decades in the manufacture of plastics and epoxy resins. In particular, BPA is widely used in food packaging, cans and plastic containers. The problem lies in the potential release of BPA from these materials into food and beverages, which can lead to human exposure.
